Vanna's First: a Flamingo Fête
Vanna's mom, Janezcha, was a "batchmate bride" I met at the precana workshop hosted by our wedding church. She came to me requesting me to design a tropical flamingo-themed invitation for her baby's first birthday. Pink avians and monstera philodendrons? Sign me up!
I already had a pretty good picture of how I want it to look, guided by Janezcha's request to incorporate a little blue in there. Painting the flamingo, the hibiscus flowers, and the banana leaves were so much fun.
I thoroughly enjoyed painting all the leaves, the deep greens, the hints of blue. Foliage for days! In addition to the invitation, she also asked me to create the name tag layout and the "Thank you" card.
